Dr. A. Michael Maclean is a licensed psychologist with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia and Alberta College of Psychologists. He is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and American Psychological Association as well as the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and International Neuropsychological Society.  Dr. Maclean is also a member of the Sports Neuropsychology Society.


Dr. Maclean received his Master's degree from the University of British Columbia in clinical psychology in 2000 and his Doctoral degree from the University of British Columbia in 2004. After completing the Calgary Clinical Psychology Residency, he began working with the Calgary Health Region as a neuropsychologist consulting to psychiatry. This position involved assessment of some of the more complex cases seen on inpatient psychiatric units, which involved difficult differential diagnosis of psychological and neuropsychological conditions. Dr. Maclean has applied his training and experience to private practice assessments and has been involved in numerous insurance and injury cases. Despite no longer providing treatment, Dr. Maclean has considerable experience providing psychological treatment and uses this experience in providing rehabilitation recommendations. He is a consulting neuropsychologist in the Concussion Tracking Program with the National Hockey League (NHL). Dr. Maclean provides psychological, vocational and neuropsychological examinations as well as providing consultation with regard to chronic pain and sports-related brain injury.
